Responsible for the delivery of the FLNG facilities to the Client’s satisfaction, consistent with the cost, schedule and contractual requirements; the application of quality management principles and the creation of a positive impact on safety and environmental aspects while bringing about optimal operational performance.
The role of the Project Manager is to manage the project team in the execution of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation activities. The principal functions of the position are to,
- Monitor and assess the quality of work on the project,
- Direct, plan, organize, guide, and make appropriate reports on the Engineering activities of the project, and maintain communication with personnel,.
- Control the cost and schedule status of assigned areas of the project,
- Implement the Coordination Procedure, Project Plan and Project Execution Strategy. Initiate corrective action promptly in all unsatisfactory situations,
- Implement successful Project Execution Strategies and Execution Plans which provide for effective use of company resources,
- Build Safety and Quality into the plant, and all services provided by the Project Team,
- Manage resources, including personnel, to achieve the Client’s objectives.
- Keep informed of progress, deviations from plans, potential problems and both internal or external conditions that may effect project performance.
- Inform Project Sponsor of project status including areas of concern / focus.
- Exercise responsible leadership in planning and executing corrective measures when such are necessary.
- Provide general guidance and counsel and assist in solving problems.
- Maintain effective and harmonious client relations.
JGC's major business market is in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of process plants, including offsite and utility facilities, in such fields as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and gas processing and treating.
In most projects, engineering activities center in the JGC Yokohama World Operations Center, where engineering groups are organized. JGC also uses its branch offices and subsidiary engineering companies for the execution of projects.

- Working experience of more than 25 years in design, project management and construction of Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
- Experience in Gas FPSO, LPG FPSO is desirable.
