Corrosion engineer shall be capable to handle basic function including , but not limited to the following:
- studies, monitors and reports on evironmental conditions in the refinery that caise the deterioration of metal by corrosion and other adverse factors and recommends solutions.
- coordinates corrosion control activities with operation, maintenance, engineering and consultant representatives.
- shall be conversant with latest API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, NACE codes and standards.
- experience in RBI methodology is preferred.
- should be familiar with Safety, Health and Environment Rules and Regulations.
- Must be B.Sc. degree in Chemical, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering preferably with post graduation or industrial training in Metalurgy .
- Min. 8 years experience in a large refinery or petrochemical industry out of which minimum 4 years should be in inspection of running plant of Oil Refinery.
salary offered between 3500-5000$ net per month, free food , accommodation, duration of work: 5 days /week, 8 hours per day.
