• Advises on development of logistics resource planning, procedures and policies to support exploration and appraisal activities plus provide inputs to field development planning logistical requirements;
• Observes and advises on availability and efficient utilization of logistics resources including vessels, land transport, helicopters and supply base in order to meet operational and HSSE requirements in the most cost effective manner;
• Advises on the employment of fit for purpose material and equipment in compliance with company policies, procedures and standards;
• Observes and advises on health, safety, security and the environment on an ongoing basis in compliance with company HSE policies and standards and with particular focus on the relevant EP 2005 Logistics HSE Standards;
• Observe and advise that trained and competent personnel are employed in area of operations;
• Provide logistical inputs and advice to other departments as and when required;
• Advises and support s the Contract Holder for multiple logistics contracts including commercial, performance and HSE aspects of contract management;
• Provide technical, operational, HSE and commercial inputs and advice for all Logistics Contract tender and award processes;
• Advises and liaises with Logistics Technical Support – Aviation (SAI), Marine (STASCO), Land Transport;
• Advises logistics staff on liaising with other EPT-W Logistics Organisations, other companies and country specific government agencies.
Support and advices the Emergency Coordination Team on Logistics as and when required.
• Relevant higher professional education;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
• Good knowledge of computer;
• Knowledge of languages: knowledge of state and English languages are preferable.
