Supervise cable routing, cable penetrations, and overview of field cable termination.
Control system power distribution, other intra-cabinet cabling.
Supervise the finalisation of all FAT punchlist items.
Supervision of ICSS vendor - power up of system, loop check support, system commissioning.
Supervise all safety Cause and Effects logic testing.
Supervision of ICSS vendor in interfacing with several other control systems using OPC-DA, Siemens protocols, RSLinx, Modbus.
PLC structuring knowledge.
Knowledge of software programming principles.
OPC Knowledge.
IT Network Knowledge..
Installation experience - field cable runs, glanding, segregation, etc.
Knowledge of fibre optics, profibus.
Good instrumentation experience.
Knowledge of marine systems.
Understanding of hazardous area issues.
Knowledge of serial link protocols - Modbus RTU and TCP, Profibus.
Understanding of FGS requirements.
Knowledge of safety systems.
Good management skills - handling cable gangs, Instrument techs.
Control all software changes made in the shipyard.
Conduct ICSS Site Acceptance Tests.
