The role will work on the testing of Engine both at the test bench and at the roll bench/on vehicle, cooperating in the design of the test, definition of the proposal for the workshops activities, the final definition of the test plan, check of the correct test execution and data analysis; plotting and the results analysis.
The candidate will focus in one of the following experimental activities:
- Experimental testing for Noise and Vibration Harness topics
- Calibration testing and methodologies
- Validation and Development of the Base Diesel Engine Hardware
- Aftertreatment emission analysis
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent culture.
- From 1 to 3 years experience in the field of Engines testing in automotive companies or R&D centres. Thesis experience for new graduated Engineers is appreciated in one of the previous mentioned testing activities.
- Base knowledge about engine hardware, main components (cylinder block and liners, cylinder head and valves, pistons, rings, conrods, crankshaft, bearings, camshafts, turbocharger, intake and exhaust manifold) and global functionality (intake air, exhaust gas, cooling and lubrication systems) and ECU software management.
- Good knowledge of tools for the calibration development (INCA or Helios) or LMS or other acquisition and analysis system for Noise Vibration Harness activity.
- Good knowledge of Etas Inca, AVL Puma, Indicom, Concerto, Cameo.
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Good attitude to work in team and good communication skills.
