Job Purpose
To manage production operations (plant operations, well head operations, tank farm, laboratory, maintenance operations and engineering) at onshore or offshore field

ROLE DEFINITION
Main responsibilities
- Meeting assigned production targets
- Meeting assigned maintenance targets
- Meeting HSEQ targets for production and maintenance operations

Key activities
- Monitoring and controlling production to meet production targets
- Monitoring plant functionality and plant technical problems fixing
- Controlling data gathering from well areas and plants
- Coordinating the activities of production and maintenance departments (to achieve maintenance requirements with minimum impact on production)
- Coordinating operations engineering
- Providing production reports to field manager

Reports to
- Onshore field manager
- Offshore field manager

Subordinates
- Plant operations superintendent, Maintenance operations superintendent, Maintenance engineering superintendent
- ONSHORE: Laboratory supervisor, Tank farm supervisor, Well head operations superintendent

Main Internal Interfaces
- Reservoir, to provide input data for geological model updating

Main External Interfaces
- External service suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Engineering/technical degree (preferred)

- Technical diploma


Professional Qualifications
- Engineer qualification ("Iscrizione albo degli ingegneri", for Italian field only)


Training and Courses
- Management skills basic course
- Management skills advanced course (preferred)
- HSE basic course
- Maintenance basic course (preferred)
- Oil & Gas surface production facilities course
- Offshore survival course (mandatory if job requires offshore work)


Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Intermediate knowledge of the specific Country language is preferred


EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities


- 3 years of experience on direct coordination of operations and maintenance activities


Required knowledge, technical or professional skills
- Commissioning - Start Up: Gas Plant Start-Up, Oil & Condensate Plant Start-Up
- Production Operations: Plant Management, Plant Prod Optimization, Maintenance Management, Oper/Mant Advising
- Maintenance Operations: Mechanical Maintenance, Telecommunication Maintenance, Instrumentation Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance
- Maintenance Engineering: Maintenance Engineering
