The candidate will be responsible for test and development of Powertrain Control modules (embedded controls). He/She will be focused on one of the following duties:
- Hardware in the Loop testing
- Test case creation, optimization and automation
- Documentation and addressing of software (Hardware) issues with embedded controls
- Definition, development and testing of Diesel Engine management systems
- Design of engine control functions, using simulation or rapid prototyping tools a engine/vehicle test bench
- Algorithm Development
- Software Development
- Functional specifications, including control logic, electrical interfaces and sensors/actuators
- Diagnostics requirements specifications
- The successful candidate will have a degree in Physics, Electronic or Mechanic engineering, with background in Mechatronics or Automation systems.
- At least 2 years professional experience in development and management of real-time electronic control system, experimental data acquisition and/or rapid control prototyping in automotive field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Diesel engines, engine control system, development tools like Matlab/Simulink, rapid prototyping tools like dSpace or Intecrio.
- Solid C language knowledge
- Experience in CAN standard protocol
- Fluent English.
- Team working and good communication skills are required

The new Product Development Center in Torino will be responsible for the development of Diesel engines, base engine calibration and engine control software. Currently an international team of highly skilled engineers is hired for the new Engineering Center.
