In this position, you will be a member of a SOC design team based in Ireland working on leading edge CMOS designs. This silicon design team is involved in the design, validation and layout of leading edge Architecture products. The software design team is involved in the design and validation of custom software for the embedded market.
The team is looking for engineers with detailed knowledge of the SOC design flow for complex SOC designs on the latest generation of process technologies. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Required qualifications include
- Strong background in RTL design, preferably Verilog
- Design Compiler logical synthesis, or similar
- Experience of Formal Verification debug and signoff
- Strong understand of CTS and constraint development
- Static timing analysis (incl. crosstalk) for tight timing requirements
- Knowledge of DFT and sign-off timing for scan modes
- Working with tool providers to optimize the design flow
You should possess a high honors degree in Engineering (Electronic Engineering), Computer Science or other numerate discipline. Additional qualifications include:
- Five+ years of industry experience
- Knowledge of Synopsys Design Flow desired
- Experience of multi-voltage design
- Place + Route and CTS taking into account deep sub micron technology effects
- Experience in a high speed Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) environment
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C-shell, Perl, Scheme, tcl/Tk*, C
- Proven track record of successful first time delivery of projects
