- Work closely with wider engineering team to design and deliver innovative and highly scalable platform components that solve challenging business and user experience problems.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the architectural vision and software quality objectives of the platform.
- Keep abreast of emerging web trends and technologies.
- Have strong ownership, passion to provide great customer experience and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Be a self-starter with common sense approach and an attention to detail.
- Have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work well with other highly talented individuals in agile and collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- C# and/or Java skills (particularly in developing Restful APIs).
- Experience with (large-scale SQL and/or NoSQL database) OR (web based front end development).
- Experience in any of the following would be advantageous: Linux, NoSQL, AWS Platform, Hadoop/Hive, Solr, ElasticSearch, Redis, Python, Nginx, OAuth, ASP.NET, MVC, REST, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML, CSS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
