Job’s Purpose :
The role is a key point of coordination during the different phases of the sales process and provides support to the Services Executives during opportunity management. The Engagement Manager is responsible for understanding customer requirements for Application Platform Consulting engagements, putting together engagement proposals and signing all work orders.
The Engagement Manager is accountable for the successful delivery and customer satisfaction on engagements within the Application Platform Consulting service line. The Engagement Manager is expected to personally deliver 900 billable hours / year.
The role is focused around the delivery of multiple engagements by playing a lead role as Project Manager, AP Consulting Lead or otherwise during all phases of the engagement. The role is a key point of accountability for successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years working experience in either consulting, client/project management, high-end professional services business development/delivery OR relevant management combined with a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have business development and business management skills. Must have strong people management skills and be capable of leading staff. Should possess intermediate to advanced communication skills. Must have advanced engagement and project management skills with the ability to drive the engagement lifecycle. Requires technical subject matter expert knowledge within his/her service line.
