OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safeguard the lives of the guests in the recreation areas of the hotel. Maintain all recreation facilities to cleanliness standards. Strives to continually improve the guest satisfaction.
• Minimum lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
• Prolonged periods of being in the sun and outdoors
• Provide coverage to pool area as scheduled.
• Set up and break down the beach and pool with chairs and umbrellas daily.
• Greet guests to the area and assist in setting them up with an umbrella and chair, if needed.
• Keep beach, pool, and turtle lagoon areas and walkways clean and free of debris.
• Maintain required cleanliness/safety levels by completing checklists during shift.
• Fold and stock pool towels as needed.
• Promote and sell Children’s Club and recreational activities, if applicable.
• Assist in set-ups and breakdown of recreation activities.
• Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
You will be eligible for the hotel’s benefit program including pension (after completion of nine months), medical, on-duty meals and uniforms (except shoes) in accordance with company’s terms and conditions. In addition opportunities for further growth via transfers or promotions will be available after having completed 1 year of service within your current position with no current written warnings on file within the past six months and providing that your performance review indicates that you are a suitably qualified associate for further growth.
