We are looking for a Plant Manager for support and development the bakery production activity in the factory.
The Plant Manager will be a key member of the management team, assist in the organization's vision and growth the strategies, execute business and operation plans to achieve performance targets. Manage the budget and provide the leadership, direction and management for all asprects of the plant's production operations.
Responsibilities :
Formulate and guide the vision and operation strategy for the site.
Coordonate the activities of direct reports in production operations, materials management, engineering, quality, health, environmental and safety, logistics, purchasing and human resources.
Optimize resources and be accountable for the performance of planning, production, quality, inventory management, capital project implementation and leadership/organizational effectiveness.
Develop the facilities site plan and work closely with Logistics on key customer issues and whit Supply Chain on capacity, service level, cost and quality matters.
Colaborate with R&D for new product introduction and ensure that the ongoing scale up of multiple new products are aligned with new production platforms.
Establish goals and budgets for all operating departments and monitor overall performance against annual plans.
Work with the management team to ensure that the facility achieves the highest possible level of return on assets and investment.
Drive and promote performance improvement through production excellence, continuous improvement and efficiency.
Plan, create and implement technology improvement programs which create competitive advantage in production.
Strong background in operational leadership and experience leading production
Experienced business leader whit at least 7 years of related experience in FMCG - Food production
Very good knowledge in continuous improvement, EHS, process engineering and production is required
Detailed knowledge of operation best practices in an asset intensive, process production environment
Strong business acumen with an in-depth understanding of the financial implication of operational strategies
Prior experience and leadership succes driving change in culture
Collaborative relationship style whit employees, customers and strategic partners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively lead and inspire teams
Unquestioned ethics and integrity
Education :
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related is required.
Additionally, an MBA or Masters in Science or Engineering
Advanced English and MS Office
