Collaboration with business consultants of specific departments of METRO SYSTEMS Germany and countries, for applications in portfolio, considering software development projects as well as incident and problem management activities
Recruiting, developing and coaching employees
Initiating and managing processes in order to increase and enhance employee motivation and productivity
Ensuring team development and performance management
Checking expenses and incomes of costs center; supervising internal and external services' cost calculation to ensure financial results in agreement with customers (Metro Cash & Carry, real, METRO SYSTEMS).
Project management of local or international initiated projects
Computer science related studies or equivalent degree in engineering or management.
Experience in Web Application development and / or software development is essential.
Experience of managing object oriented programming / modular programming is essential.
Experience of Java essentials. Technical knowledge of database technologies is desirable.
Experience of the full software development lifecycle is essential.
Excellent levels of English communication, both written and verbal.
Experience of resource management
Excellent people management skills: mentoring, delegation, management and comfortable managing a team of 10-20 IT professionals.
