Our client is an US-based leading provider of agricultural products and solutions using unparalleled innovation in plant biotechnology, genomics and breeding to improve productivity and reduce the costs of farming. The company produces leading seed brands and develops biotechnology traits that integrate insect and weed control into the seed itself. We are now looking for a professional that would join the production team in Sinesti as Cost Accountant:
- Assisting Field Operations Lead and Seed Supply Lead in ensuring grower payment information is entered in SAP and any related software applications;
- Assisting Seed Supply Lead organizing yearly budget for Romanian Seed Supply Entity;
- Entering cost data into SAP for Operational Processes as assigned;
- Entering and maintaining assigned Plant Production Processes in SAP. This includes Production Planning and Scheduling according the contract flow;
- Assisting and/or maintaining contracts with vendors associated and used by operations;
- Auditing and reconciling financial transactions as necessary for external and internal audits;
- Monitorizing and coordinating invoice payments through SAP and manual payment systems, coordinate with Production Admin Lead and Receptionist to handle the work appropriately;
- Any additional task assigned by the Seed Supply Lead for Romania.
- University degree in Accounting, Economics or comparable background;
- At least 3 years experience of cost accounting, finance, office management, budgeting;
- SAP knowledge is a plus;
- Fluency in English;
- Well-organised, able to prioritise and multi-task;
- Attention to details;
- Excellent personal and inter-personal skills;
- Team orientation.
