Software development engineering is a challenging position that combines software development and testing methodologies to certify products for release. This position is involved at all software development lifecycle phases of a project. Responsibilities and Activities
• Be responsible for maintaining and testing Web Services tools within RAD Studio.
• Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Use software test engineering tools for functional, performance, and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional, and regression tests
• Evaluate and report on latest product quality to team lead and management
• Contribute to building a world class automated test environment for testing the RAD Studio product line
Skills and Experience Required
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math- Info, or related field
- Minimum one year of work experience with SOAP and web services is mandatory
- Attracted by programming and technology, with good analytical skills
- Knowledge of remote procedure calls and web services
- Knowledge on XML, XML integrity, XML manipulation is mandatory
- Knowledge of ASP.NET desired
- Good OOP fundamentals understanding,
- Good communication skills
- Good teamwork skills
- Good problem solving skills
