For our R&D center - Iasi we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our SV Information and Organization department (IO).

As part of the Siemens VDO Information Organization IT department, we provide 2nd level IT support for our R&D locations. There are tree locations, two in Timisoara and one in Iasi. It is a team work, day by day we solve IT incidents of different type: client installations, software installation, virus and IPINS incidents, email crypting.
As a System Administrator in the Local Support Team you will be involved in:
IT 2nd Level Support for the Iasi location
Windows XP and server configuring and administering
Installing, configuring and administering Windows XP Client workstations
Updating the Windows XP for latest patch to ensure security
Email crypting, Outlook troubleshooting
Manually software installation and SMS software distribution
Active Directory, minor changes, user rights, user management
LAN infrastructures changes
On site incident and remote access
Virus protection, scanning and protecting computers
Configuring printers and multi functional devices
Telecom support
Using Remedy Ticketing System, Remote Control Tools, AD Tools, etc
University degree in IT related field
Good knowledge of Windows XP and other software
Good computer hardware knowledge, printers, other peripherals
Antivirus, wireless, vulnerabilities
Networking knowledge LAN, WAN, protocols
Server systems, types of server, purpose
Active directory basic level
SMS basic level
Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Team player, well organized, quick learner, pro-active
Medium level of English
