LEAP Software, Inc. has an immediate opening for the position of Structural Engineer in our office in Iasi, Romania.
LEAP’s structural engineering knowledge is the backbone of our organization. As a Structural Engineer team member, your primary objectives will include:
• Use scientific, engineering and other technical data from specifications and statements of problems to develop or check complex engineering problems
• Write and/or review design calculations for conformance to codes, standards and engineering practicality
• Provide technical support to our developers and test their work using hand calculations, excel or mathcad sheets

Requirements:
• Education: University degree in Structural Engineering (Civil or Bridge)
• Minimum professional work experience: 0-2 years.
• Applicants are required to have the ability to perform structural design work on elements of ordinary buildings and bridges consisting of reinforced and prestressed concrete
• Applicants with experience in the design of more complex buildings or bridges, post-tensioned concrete structures are a plus
• Good communication skills in English
• Computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, MathCAD
