Join our Embarcadero Technologies global team as member in Iasi office to contribute in development process of one our premium products, DBArtisan. Help our community of DBA¿¿¿s monitor, perform tuning and get better highly scalable solutions in order to improve their productivity by using DBArtisan.
Responsibilities and attributes:
¿¿¿ Use DBArtisan and other tools to gain better understanding of the customer needs.
¿¿¿ Develop and maintain smoke test, functional and regressions tests
¿¿¿ Conceive test planes and test scenarios, put them in practice and monitor the outcome.
¿¿¿ Identify bugs and software errors by executing automated tests and unit tests
¿¿¿ Report bugs and priorities them and help in fixing.
¿¿¿ Use Jira, QATraq and other specific tools in order deliver a professional outcome and monitor development and bug-fixing process.
¿¿¿ Build reports for upper management and maintain a proactive communication with the other team members in the product and with other teams/departments.
¿¿¿ Enhance internal testing frameworks.
¿¿¿ Help junior members of the team get up to speed, understand the product and become productive fast.
Skills required:
¿¿¿ University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math-Info or related field
¿¿¿ Strong knowledge of either Java or C++/Delphi, development experience is a plus
¿¿¿ Strong knowledge of Databases
¿¿¿ Strong communication skills in Romanian and English are a must
¿¿¿ Good OOP fundamentals understanding
¿¿¿ Good knowledge of testing tools, and bug tracking/reporting systems.
¿¿¿ Experience in end user testing is required
¿¿¿ Experience using automated tests tools is required.
¿¿¿ Understanding of Agile development process is a plus
