- Analyzing, planning and development of web-oriented and related technologies, mostly on the backend level;
- Creating work estimates and time-frames for development tasks;
- Code optimization and architecture, management of user interaction scenarios;
- Writing code documentation and technical specifications.
- 1 - 3 years of development experience using PHP/SQL in building web applications;
- good knowledge of client-side technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS and other related standards;
- development of technical projects as well as functional analysis are also required;
- knowledge of web standards, such as XML, XHTML, web services;
- good English communication skills;
- team player, social, communicative and fun.
- experience with source versioning systems (CVS or Subversion) is a plus;
- experience with New Media technologies, such as AJAX, Flash (Actionscript), Media Content Delivery Platforms (Flash Media Server, Red5, ffserver etc) are major pluses;
- previous experiences with enterprise-level technologies (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and programming languages (Java, Microsoft .NET) are also major pluses.
