Given HTML UI prototype, update the existing application to use the new UI (per prototype). The existing app is built in java using html, javascript, and jsp - executing within a jsp container - Tomcat. Developer will be provided with existing code (via a CVS checkout) and a sample mysql database files (via ftp). Developer will have to install tomcat and mysql, attach sample db and install the base line code based on provided instructions. Developer will get the code base from CVS hosted by Notiora. Developer will check in changes to the code nightly.
+ have experience building n-tier apps using:
- Java, JSP, on containers like Tomcat, JBoss.
- PHP in a LAMP environment.
+ have experience working in teams with tool like CVS for change control.
+ have experience implementing web UI using HTML, Javascript, DHTML, AJAX technology patterns.
+ this person must be comfortable working alone based on provided specification; he/she must be able to independently integrate into the our solution.
+ must read English well
+ must speak English enough to comm over the phone.
+ at least 2 working hours must be reserved for communication with the our team in the states in PST!
+ this person must be able to stay on skype most of the hours while working for ad hoc requests/status updates.
