• Identify and creation of BCS Master data Consolidation Units (Companies, Profit Centers, Cost Centers.etc), Cons groups and FS item hierarchies
• Creation of required hierarchies against Consolidation Units and Consolidation of Chart of Accounts
• Execution of following consolidation tasks for Legal/Management Consolidation using BCS Consolidation Monitor Balance Carry forward Data collection Validation of Reported Data Standardization of Reported Data Reconciliation Currency Translation and rounding Allocation Validation of Standardized Data Inter Unit Elimination of IU (Inter Unit) Profit / Loss in Inventory Consolidation of Investments Reclassification Manual Postings
• Validation of consolidated data SAP BW Reporting on Consolidated Data Support
• Interact with business to gather requirements, prioritize work, develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate testing, and perform change management/training for BCS Reporting and applications.
• Perform analysis and design; write technical specifications; configuration and programming in the SAP/BCS environment, including testing and implementation.
• Monitor, communicate and troubleshoot issues with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues.
• Providing input to team architects regarding ideas or improvements in planning processes, functions, layouts, and reports.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development activities, including mentoring and training both consultant and client project team members
• Minimum 5 years of experience with BCS/Consolidation
• Enhancement project experience in SAP SEMBCS would be an added advantage
• SAP FI/CO Functional expertise is mandatory
• SAP Certification in FI/CO or SEM would be an added advantage
• Client facing skills Onsite project experience is mandatory
• Basic BW backend experience in writing the FDS for process chains and custom objects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
• Solid interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills are crucial to this role
• Ability to work in virtual team environment across the different geographies, and time zones
• Project experience involved in business analysis and testing tasks.
• Experience in gathering requirements, design planning functions, layouts, and reports.
• Strong team-based organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, but also the capability and desire to work independently when necessary.
