The role: Sales Commissions Planning Manager (Finance)

This position manages the development, implementation and ongoing support and analysis for geographically relevant sales compensation plans.

Scope:

• Manages a team of individuals and interfaces within the headquarters, sales support functions, and potentially with vendors to effectively deliver service within the assigned geography. Has accountability to cover all assigned sales incented positions within the geography.

Education Requirements:

• Ensure accuracy of the system by conducting quality assurance testing after each run prior to release for payment;
• Support scheduled audits with data, analysis and process flow charts;
• Work with the IM team, or internal team members, to define, develop and test system changes – new comp plans, changes to comp plans, quarterly promotions, issue resolution;
• Support research and analysis of field issues via data extracts and analysis of relevant systems logic;
• Manage a group of Incentive Analysts developing systems requirements, overseeing systems changes, and performing monthly quality assurance assessments;
• Identify and source all commissionable activities for all incented sales positions equipment transactions, signings, P&L metrics;
• Ensure system is capable of supporting all line of business pay plans and incentives ensuring country payroll schedules are achieved and incorporate relevant internal controls;
• Understanding the Xerox strategic intent relevant to incentive compensation in order to set up supporting systems and process.
• Approve all bonus and commission payments in accordance with the requirements defined for each individual sales compensation plan.
• Ensure a monthly review process is in place with the lines of business to provide an analysis of spend versus performance trend information and high/low earnings to identify pay plan/target adjustments required.
• Implement system enhancements to support payment and reporting of quarterly, monthly, or semi-annual sales promotions.
• Share fiduciary responsibility for audit requirements;
• Participate in the discussion of compensation plan metrics across positions;
• Decision maker for unique Exception to Policy;
• Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of Compensation Policies;
• Benchmark outside companies in conjunction with HR;
• Tight integration of activities with HR, Marketing, Finance;
• Leads team of analysts.
