To support XL World, a Xerox Company, in its aggressive growth plans, we are looking for you to become our newProposal Manager!
The Proposal manager will be responsible for working with sales executives in the drafting and completing of solution proposals and other customer facing materials. Help develop creative solution and proposal approach to win business
Duties and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate the proposal schedule and project timelines throughout the proposal process
Analyze the RFP and make associated proposal process and content judgments
Prepare and manage the proposal schedule and outline. Ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives
Define style conventions based on proposal center standards and the RFP
Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements
Contact and obtain from legal, insurance, and contracts departments required comments and forms
Assist capture/sales lead in drafting or preparing the standard content; occasionally write sections
Manage document production with available templates, according to special requirements, colors and other client-specific elements, etc. Assist with presentations
Review and edit all sections for completeness, readability, and compliance
Interfaces with finance to provide solutions and models consistent with business needs.
Secondary responsibilities:
Support market intelligence and customer intelligence projects using web tools and other business data sources
Personal, Technical and Behavioral Skills
Excellent Personal Computer and business solutions software skills in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Microsoft Project a plus.
Ability to manage large or multiple projects, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and to switch between tasks quickly in a fast moving environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to work extended hours
Self-learner
Multilingual (English is a minimum, other languages are welcome such as Italian, Spanish, German and/or French)
Proactive, creative, great networking skills (internal and external)
Strong communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
Three to five years proposal management experience or equivalent, preferably with a background in a technology applications environment. Bachelor’s degree required;
