Job Description:
The Abacus Managed Service Engineer understands Telecom Billing, using MIND Abacus software to carry out billing for our customers, and delivering excellent service and customer care. The department also provides daily support for customers by telephone and by e-mail, resolving queries about billing and carrying out tasks that support the billing process.

Job Responsabilities:
As a result of the daily tasks and customer support, bugs or change requests may arise and the Engineers will bring the changes and improvements of the software to the attention of the development team. The role will involve testing fixes. For each customer bill run there is full written process documentation and full training is given in-house on billing and the software used. Every customer has different requirements so they need different support, which offers a great deal of variety in the role.

SQL Server - Enterprise Manager
Microsoft Office Suite

Job Requirements:
General knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL querying, stored procedures, jobs).
Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good command of English
Understanding of Web standards/languages/paradigms (HTTPS, HTML, XML, SOAP)
