Supervisory Responsibilities
??? Schedule, assign and track SDET activities in the team
??? Collaborate with peers and managers to prioritize activities
??? Write quality plans, set workloads, supervise and evaluate the work of reporting Software Development Engineers in Test.
??? Perform reviews on testing activities and results, sign off testing plan for various features
??? Share technical knowledge, coach and grow team members
??? Get into planning, building and executing comprehensive automated tests.
??? Ensure issues are investigated and reported
Responsibilities and Activities
??? Use RAD Studio and other tools as a regular developer/programmer
??? Make use of automation related to specific projects
??? Develop and maintain a suite of smoke, functional and regression test
??? Report bugs and verify fixes
??? Manage SDET activities, organize test suites and bugs, prioritized bugs
??? Publish and interpret analysis of QA testing
??? Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
??? Improve existing quality processes; create and measure quality goals
??? Communicate proactively within organization to ensure quality releases.
Skills and Experience Required
??? Excellent understanding of software development tools in general, background on programming in applications like RAD Studio
??? University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math-Info or related field
??? Technical aptitude in development (preferably developer with several years experience)
??? Abilities for programming languages and frameworks such as Delphi and C++,
??? Good OOP fundamentals understanding
??? Good knowledge of testing tools, and bug tracking/reporting systems.
??? Experience in end user testing would be a plus
??? Ability to define, prioritize and delegate tasks
??? Ability to quickly adapt to new technical concepts
??? Highly organized and productive individual
??? Very good command of written and spoken English
??? Experience in leading a team to achieve goals, technical leader
??? Education in general management, management experience is a plus
??? Understanding of Agile development process is a plus
