Software development engineering is a challenging position that combines software development and testing methodologies to certify products for release. This position is involved at all software development lifecycle phases of a project. Responsibilities and Activities
• Be responsible for running and developing a comprehensive set
of tests for Visual Component Library (VCL) and Runtime Library (RTL) functionality and technologies.
• Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Use software test engineering tools for functional, performance and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional and regression tests
• Evaluate and report on latest product quality to team lead and management
Skills and Experience Required
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field
• Ability to analyze and write code in any of C#, C++, Delphi desired
• Good OOP fundamentals understanding,
• Understanding of Delphi and their associated standard libraries (VCL,RTL) is a plus
• Knowledge of C++ and STL is a plus
• Application development experience in Delphi is a plus
• Component based software development principles
• General knowledge on unit testing and regression testing is a plus
• Good knowledge of windows operating systems and associated APIs
• Good communication skills
• Good teamwork skills
• Good problem solving skills
