Job Description:
- Design, develop, re-factor, optimize and enhance web application components;
- Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the solution;
- Document system and application design.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software apps cross-browser/cross-device front end code;
- Help establish UI best-practices, patterns, and development frameworks;
- Contribute to idea development, software estimation, and task breakdown;
- Stay current on web standards, best practices, pitfalls of developing for cross-browser compatibility and scalable, responsive web-design.
- 4+ years of expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS is required;
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures, and fundamental user experience capabilities;
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Protoype, jQuery Mobile, Backbone.js, AngularJS;
- Lead research of identifying and analyzing integration with third party tools;
- Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management;
- Anticipate risks, issues and roadblocks and proactively communicate them to the team;
- Node.js is a plus.
