On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing FORTUNE 500 company with operations all over the world we are looking for strong IT professionals for the new R&D CENTER IN IASI.
As Senior Support Engineer you will be responsible for:
work with all levels of management to remove roadblocks;
analyze business issues and technical problems independently;
support enterprise class applications using Java/J2EE, XML and Database related technologies;
provide hands-on technical support for all project support activities.
participate in product releases and review release notes to include technical details regarding functionality and configuration;
responsible for Quality of the deployment of the product and review the architecture and enhance the performance of the product.
direct and oversee assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner;
effectively communicate status, metrics and issues on a daily basis to the support team;
develop and mentor junior engineers and assist them with their assignments
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
Masters / Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited University required.
requires 4 to 6 years commercial application support experience utilizing J2EE (including Core Java, JSP/Servlet, JDBC, Struts, Spring, iBatis/Hibernate, Web Services, Design Patterns, XML technologies, UML) and Oracle (including SQL, Oracle functions, transactions, locks and triggers);
working knowledge of Application/Web Servers (including Apache/JBoss/Tomcat/WebLogic);
working knowledge of Linux/Solaris environment;
prior product development and support experience is a plus.
