RESPONSABILITATI

The Data Analyst assists with the data mining of the CiTDB to aid in the creation of proposals, client presentations and metric reports and provides analysis as needed to the Account Executives or internal clients.
The Data Analyst will need to understand the client’s use and requirements of the CiTDB and coordinate information requests by clients and the account teams. In addition to being familiar with the client’s business, products and solutions, the Data Analyst is proficient in using the internal tool at Harte Hanks for contract quoting, project coordination and reporting upon project ROI metrics.

Additionally, the Data Analyst can answer, provide counts, analytical reports and manage CiTDB data requests from both internal and external clients while keeping the assigned Account Executive and Manager of Client Success informed of/involved with client activities and issues.


CERINTE

 Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - expert level in Excel required;
 Strong skills writing SQL queries (Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server 2008) ;
 Understand basic relational database concepts and business driven design requirements;
 Translate, convert and transform data files and databases from one format to another;
 Ability to integrate data from disparate datasets;
 A confident self-starter, team player, innovative problem solver, and able to manage multiple projects at once;
 Attentive to details, resourceful, works well under pressure and have strong communication skills;
 Past experience in database marketing;
 Passion for data driven analytics a requirement;
 Ability to analyze process flows and develop improvements;
 Strong analytical & strategic thinking;
 First class communication and influencing skills;
 Solid understanding of marketing services, through education and practical experience;
 Experience working with and managing cross-functional teams;
 Degree in Business, Engineering, Math, Statistics or equivalent with 1-3 years experience in customer service and/or analytics with some related technology experience understandings relational databases and querying;
 Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment is preferred;
 Understands database marketing and sales processes.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Creating quotes, counts, and possible scenarios for preparing presentations and proposals;
 Monitoring the client accounts to ensure that records, order and fulfillment processes, invoicing, and other related matters are timely done to assure client satisfaction is maintained;
 Coordinating email and matching projects;
 Acting as a back-up for client calls and inquiries;
 Other duties will be assigned as needed.
