RESPONSABILITATI

Duties include:
• Support in resolving process and technical problems raised by the user community: Test and Development teams allocated to multiple client projects.
• Processing information, request fulfilment and maintaining our database repositories, seeking configuration management compliance during the assessment of proposed changes to live systems.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our Configuration Management solutions by supporting process/tool reviews and maintaining documentation.
• Producing the weekly Change reports showing successful, failed and planned Changes for the current week and the week ahead.
• Taking part in Change Advisory Boards and Emergency change meetings involving customers as appropriate.
• Functional escalation point for junior team members.


CERINTE

We are looking for intelligent people, who have previously worked in technical roles within an IT-focussed company, with multiple offices and a business-critical international network infrastructure.
As a Configuration Manager you will work on a key client account and manage the configuration management team activity. You have to be a good communicator, comfortable with dealing with developers, architects and Project Managers and able to deliver 1-2-1 coaching and training.

Mandatory skills

• Subversion, IIS, Maven, Cruise Control, Jenkins/Hudson, Ant.
• Multi Operating System knowledge.
• Tomcat Application Server, Windows Services, IIS.
• Good integration knowledge of different tools and inter-operability between OS.
• Basic Scripting knowledge (including .bat files).
• Proficient in English.
• Packaging and software deployment.
• Exposure in applying ITIL practices, Change Management, Problem Management.
• Java
• .Net

Desirable skills

• Familiar with project management techniques.
• People management skills.
• HP Quality Center, XML, Remedy.
