Sourcing new suppliers for future products, developing and managing a portfolio of suppliers
Sending presentations to future suppliers by email
Updating and maintaining suppliers data base
Meeting suppliers and negotiating prices and terms of contract
Building strong business relationships with suppliers and getting feedback from customers
Negotiating the best cost price to achieve departmental margin targets and reacting to market conditions to protect profit
Attending trade fairs in North America (USA) and visiting suppliers/traders/wholesalers
Visiting the client in France and our headquarter in North Africa (Tunisia)
Analyzing consumer buyers patters and predicting future trends
Liaising with other departments within the company to ensure projects, targets and deadlines are met
Resolving client’s grievances, and claims against suppliers
Strong negotiation and communication skills
A proactive person oriented towards results
Entrepreneurial attitude, passion for business environment, able to see and seize business opportunities
2 - 4 years of previous experience in sales/purchasing is a must
PC skills (Office suite) including working with databases
English language is mandatory
Good French skills
