The role holder provides professional consultative services and plays a role in the development of future
business for the company. Provides subject matter expertise (SME) in a range of specialties including
business solutions, business and process analysis.
The business consultant is a source of consulting knowledge for one of the Global Document Outsourcing (GDO) service offers.
The key deliverables of this role include:
• Requirements analysis
• Due diligence
• Helping to articulate the client’s business problem in the language of the clients’ business
• Working with Solution Architects, Sales leads and Bid Managers to develop a value proposition and business case for the solution and helping articulate this in the clients’ language.
• Relevant degree qualification
• Sound experience in setting up robust and achievable project plans and monitoring the delivery
against performance
• A proven track record in technology based outsourced business
• Past experience in a services consultancy or equivalent environment
• Experience of having successfully contributed to the development and execution of business
initiatives and plans to increase revenues
• Demonstrates aptitude for innovation and appreciation of client business drivers
• Developing sound Business Consulting skills and knowledge in a selection of the following areas: Problem-solving, Negotiations, Assessments, Presentations, Technical Writing, Listening, Facilitation, Project Management, Influence Decisions and delivering Billable Work
• Desirable: Recognized consulting /project management qualification (e.g. PMI, PRINCE)
