Join the Embarcadero build team and contribute in creating, managing and distributing a large range of builds, primary on JBuilder.
Responsibilities and Activities
• Put in place and maintain the build and release system for various tools, like JBuilder
• Handle source control tools, build tools
• Handle projects branching and merging in a multi-project configuration
• Maintain servers and configurations
• Integrate unit tests within builds, fix builds and help developers with build/release related issues
Skills and Experience Required
• Excellent communication skills.
• Candidate will communicate directly with individuals and small groups.
• Current or recent experience as a J2EE developer
• Ability to successfully interact across multiple levels of an organization.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge and background in build management and distribution.
• Experience with source code revision tools (Subversion, CruiseControl) and build creation tools
• Experience with Branching and Merging in a multi-project environment.
• Experience working directly with multiple Developer teams and engaging with them to help control and monitor their activities.
• Experience and proficiency with high level scripting languages (examples: Java Script, LUA, Python, Perl, NSIS).
• Knowledge and experience on different OS platforms
