To support XL World, a Xerox Company, in its aggressive growth plans, we are looking for you to become our new Bid Manager!

The Bid Manager will lead the Bid Response Development process and coordination of individual bids covering all of our BPO solution offerings for the UK.

Ensure, through a full understanding and appreciation of the BPO solution portfolio, that appropriate offerings, within a complete and competitive solution, are proposed to meet the client requirements: leading the bid process through all stages from qualification through to handover to the implementation team, whilst developing and maintaining best practice throughout the bid cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Co-ordination of all technical input and the management of all bid submissions

Plan and manage post bid submission activity

Ensure respect of deadlines for bid responses

Continued activity and responsibility to raise the standard and quality of bids to increase bid win ratio

Give support and assistance to sales team members as required, to ensure bid management provides an effective and value adding function throughout the business

Solutions Teams: to supply qualified resources to bid solutions, to lead the bid process, to ensure timely internal reviews and use of best practice materials

Role skills - Critical Technical and Behavioral Skills

Experienced Bid Manager, 4-5 years+ Bid management experience leading complex bids

Strong business orientation, analysis/problem solving, negotiation, resilience and collaboration skills, financial acumen

Great sense of urgency

Experienced at working with Senior Management.

Used to bringing matrix teams together, potentially across countries.

Strong Project Management skills

Educated to degree level

Multilingual (English is a minimum, other languages are welcome such as Italian, Spanish, German and/or French)

Proactive, creative, great networking skills (internal and external)





Personal skills

Able to present the bid project plan and key win themes to the Bid Team

Displays a bias for decisiveness by meeting the most aggressive timelines for delivering high quality proposals

Makes active attempts to influence events to achieve goals: self starting rather than acting passively

Able to coordinate a team with different backgrounds and to define common priorities and objectives

Showing concerns for all aspects of the job, no matter how small. Checking processes and tasks accurately

Able to be accountable for tasks and objectives assigned
