Establishes, implements and monitors compliance with manufacturing policies and procedures including planning, production, scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction/on time delivery, employee relations and performance measures.
Analyzing, planning, directing and coordinating the production activities within the allocated business unit;
Planning the plant’s resources to meet the production goals;
Overseeing the production process, reducing costs wherever possible and making sure products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Making sure that the production proceeds smoothly and stays within budget;
Assuring technical transfer of the production projects;
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programs;
Working closely with the other managers (financial, sales, procurement, and logistics) in order to implement the company’s policies and goals;
Maintains a clean and safe plant and is responsible for meeting established production goals;
Recommends and implements changes in manufacturing and facilities to meet the strategic objectives of the Company.
University degree in engineering;
Required 5+ year’s production management experience with P&L responsibility preferably in the wood industry;
Hands on, on-the-floor type management style with a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results;
English is compulsory;
Good knowledge of quality and management systems;
Responsible and flexible person, with excellent communication skills;
Proactive and results oriented person.
