RESPONSABILITATI

1. Responsible for the management and execution of assigned product programs.
2. Coordinate and monitor technical matters, program costs, sufficient labour, timing and the like to ensure successful development and launch of assigned products.
3. Provide technical direction to the various engineering levels together with cross-functional departments.
4. Execute all engineering deliverables of a customer/engineering program.
5. Measure and implement team metrics.
6. Interface with team leader on development of customer and program milestones.
7. Manage transition and development requirements through MGPP (Multi Generation Product Plan) and STP (Strategic Technology Plan).
8. Develop a uniform training program and system to continuously improve and strengthen the talent base within Engineering.
9. Develop a system for knowledge retention and best practices across the specific customer.
10. Support the Customer Team and other divisional personnel (Core Engineering, Operations Management, etc.) by reviewing Customer SOR's and Technical Specifications received during the quotation process, and providing input regarding product to be offered.
11. Interface with the Project Team Leader to agree upon engineering resource levels required to satisfy the SOR, per the PIFF process.
12. Manage the Engineering departmental budget and budget creation.


CERINTE

1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering field.
2. Masters degree preferred.
3. Minimum 7 years engineering experience preferably in automotive mechanisms.
4. Understanding of engineering and product development processes.
5. Understandings of product launch requirements, program management techniques and impact of design on manufacturability, and total quality management.
6. Ability to travel.
7. Demonstrated leadership in implementing organizational, process and technical improvements.
8. Comfortable with initiating and implementing change.
9. Strong communication / negotiation / and presentation skills skills, proven technical excellence and organization skills.
