We are planning to arrange a roundtable-meeting with Greenland Health Care representatives and European GPs in Budapest in the beginning of 2012, for which the most suitable applicants will be invited.
This will not be a job interview as such, but a personal meeting, where the management from Greenland hospitals can meet interested candidates, and where the candidates might get a wider overview about their perspectives in Greenland. In case of mutual interest, there will be possibility for further dialogue
• A minimum of 5 years experience
• Professional command of English is required
• Motivation for living and working in Greenland for a number of years
• Experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, pediatry, minor surgery and psychiatry
• A 6 month language course and Danish Medical Language Program in Budapest with compensation for lost
income
• Cultural teaching prior to departure
• Basic salary: approx. 6,910 Eur (gross per month)
• Additional allowance for duties between 2,680 and 3,350 Eur depending on the amount of duties and the
amount of specialists in the district
• 5 weeks paid holiday
• 5% from the total salary and an additional 10% of the basic salary is paid into the Physicians’ Pension Fund
• Approximately 40 hours of work per week
• Assistance in administrative processes
• Accommodation assistance: the employer provides apartment for the employees to rent
• All expenses for recruitment, language training and integration will be covered

• Help with schooling and child care
• Information on tax matters in Greenland
• Hotline service for urgent questions
• Extra Danish classes after arrival to Greenland
