- Responsible for arranging all maintenance activities of
the plant including Utilities like boiler, compressors, LTG, LPG station etc.
- To conduct preventive periodic checks of electrical
panels/motors/drives/PLC/ modules and all electronic parts and to keep record.
- Attending electrical/ electronic break down of machines and also
to support and guide the mechanical maintenance team.
- Spare part management: keeping record of spare parts, ordering the
new, documentation and follow up.
- To make machine wise Mechanical, electrical/ electronic
maintenance schedule, conducting the maintenance as per the schedule and documentation.
- Maintenance of trolleys, cranes, forklifts etc (Both preventive
and Breakdown)/
- To communicate with the machine manufacturer and their service
engineers for technical support as and when required.
- To test electronics units, using standard test equipment, and
analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
- To assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components
according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.
- To identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with
manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- To perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment
and systems, such as temperature controller, load cells, pressure and tension regulators, speedometer and the process control instruments of operation and laboratory.
- Repairing and rectifying the electronic cards, drives etc;
- To work for energy conservation by optimizing the use of
electrical power.
- To develop the spare parts from local suppliers.
- To upload and down load programs from the Drives and PLCs.
- Electrical maintenance of utility including boiler, compressors,
LTG, air conditioning and heating system.
- To work in co ordination with the production/purchase/safety
departments and also with mechanical maintenance department .
- Managing the store/warehouse of electrical/ electronic parts in a
systematic manner.
Candidate must be Electrical/ Electronics and Communication Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in process industries.
