Responsibilities:
• You will support continued Layer 1 SW code development and maintenance of a system testing suite for validating protocol stack software, this involves development of high level L1 hardware block and air interface simulations in C and interfacing them to a base station simulation
• Ensuring that reported defects are investigated and fixed and system analysis and debugging of test cases written in TTCN 2/3
• NOT looking for pure DSP/FW algorithm developers/experts i.e. MATLAB experience is therefore not required
Qualifications:
• Must possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of 3G/LTE UMTS air interface specifications
• 3+ years experience in 3G L1 experience, but must have knowledge of interface between the low level (Layer 1) of a protocol stack and the underlying hardware blocks ( FW, DSP, RF, etc )
• 3+ years hands on experience with protocol stack development in the mobile cellular industry
• 5+ years of experience in C programming for embedded systems and Microsoft windows environment
Preferred Requirements:
• Very good understanding of 3GPP 3G/LTE protocol architecture and specifications
