o Manage projects (e.g. engineering design changes) regarding the delivery of components or sub systems acc. to the project timing.
o Liaise with all required internal and external contacts/teams globally in order to support/progress any quality improvement actions. o Responsible for development of individual component(s) and systems, releasing parts. o Support of 8D and 6-Panel problem solving team approaches.
o Suggest correction/update of component & system specifications.
o Support the development of validation plans for components and systems together with test departments.
o Chase/push other departments to start up and finish their work according to time-plan and escalate in case of inadequate support.
o Control, integrate and manage suppliers if required. o Take responsibility of the design and the interfaces to surrounding parts/areas, support design review meetings.
o Develop feasibility studies and cost-/quality forecasts. o Develop quality roadmaps.
o Support functional builds and implementation of cost reduction actions.
o Ability to use appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g. 8D, FMEA, 6panels, etc.
o Knowledge/understanding of GQIP process (BSAQ etc.).
o Ability to communicate within a global environment.
o very good german and english language skills.
o PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database applications
