RESPONSABILITATI

A Swiss company is searching for an experienced program manager to lead pioneering external research cooperation programmes and build a new business line; the position is offered both at the Headquarters in Zurich and at the branch in Berlin, travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business and development teams
• Define priorities and timelines
• Proactively search for new program opportunities
• Build and own program schedules and drive deliverables to completion
• Network in the Research community and make sure we stay within the EC regulations
• Minimize, manage and avoid risks to the program schedules and objectives
• Manage organizational work for new programs (reporting, resource allocation, founding of legal entities to ensure ongoing operation of the systems built in the scope of the program)
• Become a member of the Program Control Board
• Participation in EU program meetings
• Manage multiple programs with shifting and competing priorities


CERINTE

Profile

• BS/BA degree
• MS degree or MBA are a big plus
• 3+ years of program management experience
• Previous experience in EU funded R&D programs
• Experience in Media domain (TV, web services, etc.) is a plus
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design, and implementation
• Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and technical possibilities
• High energy and strong drive complemented with empathy and tact
• Strong ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience with agile software development is a plus
• System integration or development experience is a nice to have qualification
• Experience working with Senior management and remote teams
• Proficient in English
