- liaise with Commodity Purchasing and the program team to complete the GPDS Purchasing deliverables.
- co-ordinate sourcing plan / commodity plan between Commodity Purchasing and PD to ensure timely source selection and supplier involvement in design and target setting.
- Working with commodity purchase on the sourcing process for the commodities he/she will be responsible for.
- Working as a member of the PMT with PD, Commodity Purchasing, PCE, finance and the supplier to align and agree on cost and functional targets, consistent with Program objectives.
- Support regular Sourcing PAT meetings and represent Purchasing at weekly PMT meetings ensuring resolution of all supplier related cost, quality and timing issues.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain cost and timing data on a timely basis consistent with program cost and timing objectives.
- Ensure the supplier is authorized to commence tooling manufacture on a timely basis to support the program timing objectives.
- Introduction of new processes during new development processes which affect the base for supplier sourcing;
- Purchasing experience;
- University Degree- Excellent Business English language skills.
