Final inspection:
- Carrying out UT-inspections in an independent capacity
(acc. to PS-0.0020 and PA 11.62).
- Carrying out MT/ PT-inspections in an independent capacity
(acc. to PS-0.0021 and PA 11.62).
- Checking radiographic films and records if necessary
(acc. to TLV 0100, Ps-0.0020, PA 11.62).
- Checking tensile test and impact test together with the supplier
(acc. to TLV and PA 11.62).
- Dimension Check in accordance with TLV 0100 and PA 11.62.
- Evaluating already performed and documented manufacturer examination results.
- Checking final documentation in accordance with TLV 0100 and PA 11.62
Minimum requirements:
- The inspector must have extensive experience in UT- examination of steel castings (min. 3 years).
- The inspector must have extensive experience in VT/ MT/ PT examination of steel castings.
- The inspector must have extensive experience in RT examination (assessment of RT- films).
Only if RT examination is demanded. Component dependent.
- Certification: Minimum level 2 UT/ MT/ PT acc. to DIN EN 473 or SNT-TC-1A must be available. VT level 1.
- Certification: Minimum level 2 RT acc. to DIN EN 473 or SNT-TC-1A must be available.

- Basic knowledge of material technology (mechanical properties).
- The inspector must be familiar with technical documentations.
- For special cases a supervisor (level 3) must be available.
