Final inspection:
- Carrying out UT-inspections in an independent capacity
(acc. to PS-0.0022 and PA 11.63).
- Carrying out MT/ PT-inspections in an independent capacity
(acc. to PS-0.0021 and PA 11.63).
- Check of the Tensile test and impact test together with the supplier
(acc. to TLV and PA 11.63).
- Dimension Check in accordance to PA 11.63.
- Evaluating of already performed and documented manufacturer examination results.
- Check of final documentation in accordance with TLV and PA 11.63.
Minimum requirements:
- The inspector must have extensive experiences in UT-examination of nodular iron casting (min. 3 years).
- The inspector must have extensive experiences in VT/ MT/ PT-examination of nodular iron castings.
- Certification minimum level 2 UT/ MT/ PT acc. to DIN EN 473 or SNT-TC-1A must be available. VT level 1.
- Basic knowledge material technology (mechanical properties).
- The inspector must be familiar with technical documentations.
- For special cases a supervisor (level 3) must be available.
