Final inspection:
- Carrying out UT-inspections in an independent capacity
(acc. to PS-0.0004 and PA 14/24.52).
- Carrying out MT-inspections in an independent capacity (acc. to PS-0.0004).
- Checking Tensile test and impact test together with the supplier
(acc. to PS-0.0003).
- Evaluating already performed and documented manufacturer examination results.
- Checking final documentation in accordance with TLV.
Minimum requirements:
- The inspector must have extensive experience in UT-examination of heavy forgings (min. 3 years)
- The inspector must have extensive experience in MT-examination and endoscopy of axial bores.
- Certification: Minimum level 2 UT and MT acc. to DIN EN 473 or SNT-TC-1A must be available.
- Basic knowledge of material technology (mechanical properties).
- The inspector must be familiar with technical documentations.
- For special cases a supervisor (level 3) must be available.
