Public Euroconsulting, on behalf of our client, a leading Internet Company in Berlin, is looking for a Linux Kernel Storage Programmer, to join their team and help the company grow.
Job title: Linux Kernel Storage Programmer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Responsibilities:
- Improvement of storage solutions
- Development of the company’s block device driver in the storage area
- Contribution to functionality, stability and performance of the company’s storage solutions
- Involvement in driver development through the whole project from conception to launch
Profile:
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of experience in development of storage solutions
- Practical knowledge in dealing with Copy-on-write Snapshots, Clustered block devices, Kernel Level Block, Device Stack, InfiniBandsrp.
- High level expertise in handling Linux system tools
- Detail-oriented with an independent mind
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
