For a reputable company operating in the Marine & Offshore , Industry & Infrastructure we are recruiting an experienced Technical Manager for the Electrical Engineering Department
The Company
The Company offers complete electrical engineering solutions : panel building, implementation, start-up to maintenance and service. The Company has specific expertise in electrical drive systems, ship systems (including alarm and monitoring systems) and process automation.
Due to the continued growth they require an Technical Manager to join the Management Team .
Job Description :
In this position you will be responsible for the department's day to day management , lead and coordination of the Engineering , Automation and Commissioning Departments .
Responsibilities :
You will be expected to develop and describe working methods and to offer technical support to projects under contract
Plan, organize, assign, review and evaluate, the work of engineering staff
Manage and monitor complex projects, on-time and within budget
Your Profile :
Technical University Electrical Engineering
Vast experience and knowledge of installations on ships, minimum 10 years
Electrical Naval Design experience / offshore , minimum 3 years
Fluent in English
Good communication skills
Practical, result oriented and commercial attitude
Able to work independently and in a team with other disciplines
Driving License - B
