- Performing engineering designs layouts and drafting operations in accordance with contractual obligations, regulatory and classification requirements;
- Utilizing significant experience and knowledge in engineering principles and practices within his/her discipline to perform basic, class and detail design activities;
- Providing the technical expertise, skill and insight within his/her discipline to provide guidance, resolving project technical issues and responding to client/class technical queries;
- Providing technical expertise to support the Team Leaders and Project Managers in communications between the Project Manager and clients/class representatives on specific engineering/technical issues within his/her assigned area as required;.
- Providing the technical expertise on the use and operation of all engineering design and drafting software;
- Evaluation of new technology and advancements within the department’s engineering discipline for application to current and future projects with the objective of achieving cost, schedule and quality advantages for the Company;
- Perform new & modified basic design and detail design drawings for Machinery & Piping (Outside Accommodation Area), Accommodation and Piping & HVAC;
- Perform hydraulic & heat losses calculations for above mentioned disciplines – Mechanical & Pipe Engineer;
- Perform high complexity cable modeling and coordination for above mentioned disciplines – Electrical & Automation Engineer
- Perform Equipments Tribon 3D models for above mentioned areas.
- Perform medium & high complexity pipe modeling (Mechanical & Pipe), coordination drawings and foundations models & drawings for equipments .
Qualification Requirements:
- University Engineering Studies (Shipbuilding or Thermal Machineries or Mechanical Technology);
- Demonstrated expertise and skill in ship/marine design in his/her field or discipline;
- Relevant experience and fully conversant with Tribon, AutoCAD, as well as other core design software tools;
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
