Project Activity:
The Senior J2EE Developer will be part of a team responsible for the development of large-scale software solutions using Java technologies according to the given requirements specification, using specific guidelines and methodology.
This role will include the following responsibilities:
• Develop software solutions in accordance with defined objectives (quality, security, time schedule)
• Assistance in drawing up and validating technical specifications
• Writing of documentation and procedures/ documenting the source code with comments and writing technical documentation
• Implementing corrective actions
Technical skills:
• Good command of technologies, programming languages, databases, solutions and tools used in developing the assigned software applications
• Minimum 3 years hands-on development experience of Java Web, including, but not limited to Struts or Spring etc.
• Hands-on experience with Ajax, Portlets (JSR-168, JSR-286)
• Solid understanding of programming concepts
• Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum – would be an advantage)
• Enthusiasm and passion for web environment.

• Ability to openly present her/his own ideas;
• Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus;
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships with both colleagues and external clients;
• Willing and able to be part of international projects and initiatives;
• Action and results orientated, ability to manage multiple priorities is also expected;
• An ability to work under pressure and meet deadline requirements complimenting a proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results - orientated nature;
• Excellent communication skills are required in English. He/she should also have strong analytical skills, good organization skills and attention to details.
