Responsibilities:
Manage supplier process side of Proactive Reliability programs world wide. Extensive close coordination with design PRC's, Global Purchasing, other corporate APQP teams, NPI/CPPD teams, and validation engineers will be required. Extensively working with Global Purchasing and external suppliers to improve processes to meet quality targets will be the primary output of these positions. Tracking design and resulting process changes over the course of the NPI programs will be required to monitor progress on reducing program risk. Ability to gather, track, document and analyze data/information; draw conclusions; solicit input from experts; and then accurately and concisely report/communicate the results (verbal and written) will be critical.
Travel percentage:~25%(little travel may be involved in visiting US also).May have the opportunity to visit parts suppliers.
Required skills qualifications:
- Very good English and French skills
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5+ years processing experience
- Supplier development
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Practical hands-on experience with APQP and especially PFMEA's
- Ability to establish, document, and consistently follow processes
- Open minded and able to collaborate on conclusions but strong enough to stand firm when appropriate
Desired skills qualifications:
- Experience with Team Center/Vis Mockup
- Training or experience with reliability analysis
- Quality or inspection experience (especially data analysis, SPC, etc.)
- ASQ certifications (especially CQE)
Salaries and work environment at Western European level.
